I've been an astrologer since 1984 studying with various astrological schools and completing a three year Psychosynthesis Counselling Training course.
I've been a media astrologer since 1994 when I started writing my first column for SHE magazine and the Sunday Express. Since then I have written for The Sun, Dailymail.co.uk, Hello Magazine and am currently resident at The Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror.
My take on astrology is that it shouldn't be clouded in mystery but accessible, easy to grasp and yet still provide that spiritually uplifting sense that there is some meaning to whatever we are experiencing in life.
Astrology is one of the most powerful tools for self understanding. As the saying goes 'character is destiny' and if we know who we are we can see why we attract certain individuals and events to us.
But life is not just 'written in the stars'. It is an interactive game. We must play our part by making the right choices and knowing how to handle certain situations. Once again, astrology can give us great insight into how to work with the patterns and forces that make up the cycles of both the planets and life.
I still maintain a busy practice and whilst Princess Diana was a personal friend and client for the last eight years of her life I believe the beauty of astrology is that it is a great leveller. We can all learn a lot from it and gain a great understanding of other people.
I live in London and am married with a gorgeous baby girl we have recently adopted from China. She is a Scorpio, like me - and I have the Chinese Matching Room or maybe my lucky stars to thank for that.
